My 8-year-old son, Jake, is obsessed with sneakers, so he was super excited when he got a package containing black-and-white Adidas Court Attitude high-top sneakers!

Jake would rather get sneakers than anything else in the world, and in fact, his grandfather got him LeBron James Nike sneakers for his birthday? Say what? What 8-year-old would rather get sneakers over toys or video games?
While Jake was very happy with his new LeBron sneakers...I was a little less in love with them. You see they are lime green and orange, and they match with...um nothing. Plus, they are super hard to get on his feet, so every morning was a struggle.
So, you can imagine how excited I was when we got the classic black and white leather high-top sneakers from Adidas. The styling on the sneaker is crisp and clean, and they are totally old school hip. They remind me of sneakers that my friends wore when I was kid, but with an updated twist. I still remember my favorite Adidas sneakers from when I was younger, white with 3 aqua blue stripes.
So, Jake has been wearing his new old-school Adidas sneakers every day, and he looks totally cool. He has gotten lots of compliments on his new sneakers, and everyone has asked me where we got them. I also like that they are black and white, and they match with all of his clothes. They look great with sweat pants and jeans, plus they look a little dressier than most of his other sneakers, so he can also wear them with khakis and a button-down shirt. I also like that they are black, and don't get as dirty so easily.
One of the best things about his new sneakers is that the the top of the high top is wide, so it is easy to get Jake's feet into them, and he can even slip into them with the laces already tied. This saves me about 10 minutes every morning! I am almost gave up on finding a pair of high-tops that were easy to get on, so I am excited to find these Adidas ones.
So, how do the Adidas sneakers perform? Jake did his typical run around the house/store after he first put them, and he let me know that he ran as fast as a cheetah. He also told me that they are good for jumping high while he plays basketball. And the best thing is that he told me how comfortable they are to wear. Jake is kind of finicky about shoes, and he often complains that his shoes hurt his feet. So far, there have been no complaints about his new Adidas sneakers.

When I checked the price of these sneakers online, I was surprised at how much less they were than most other popular brand sneakers--only $55. That's much cheaper than other popular high-top shoes that run from $90 to $100.
