Curl up with Dr. Seuss!

March 2nd is his birthday and Read Across America Day

What child regardless of age doesn't love Dr. Seuss? From silly rhymes to a lesson to be learned, Dr. Seuss remains to be a popular children's author with everyone from Age 4 to 104 ( as Dr. Seuss would say)!

On March 2nd, we celebrate not only Dr. Seuss’ birthday, but also Read Across America Day, an annual event sponsored by the National Education Association designed to promote literacy and build a nation of readers.

Whether you are attending an official event or simply celebrating a love of reading in your own home, here is a list of favorite Dr. Seuss stories, categorized by age. Pick up one or two or even a few from your own bookshelf or at the local library.

For Your Younger Macaronis (Ages 2-5)
