More about Geoffrey and The Tyler Robinson Foundation
Local teen, Geoffrey, recently took on a special project to raise money for the Tyler Robinson Foundation ("TRF"), which was started by the rock band, Imagine Dragons and the Robinson Family, after Tyler passed away on March 4, 2013. Tyler and the band members of Imagine Dragons became friends in 2011, when the band met Tyler and were blown away by his courage and positive attitude in the face of cancer. After Tyler passed away, Imagine Dragons decided to start a Foundation in his name. The Tyler Robinson Foundation helps families with the unseen costs of childhood cancer. They help pay for things that other charities overlook, such as mortgage payments, car payments, utility/phone bills, daycare, tutoring, etc., so instead of focusing on how they will make ends meet, the family can focus on what is really important...each other.
