Go see it for yourself and you'll have an ____________ (adjective) time! Just like we did!
We were so excited we were asked to come out and see Mad Libs Live! A new off Broadway show based on the fun Mad Libs word games we all played with as kids.

As we entered we  were greeted with our Playbills which included paper sheets, as seen below, to fill out with a verb, noun, adjective and adverb as well as our names.
I thought how cool, a show that actually gets my kids to think, oh and me too!

Throughout the show the audiences words that were written down on the papers are used. The cast is performing a song that they didn't finish  your words are just the lyrics they need.  You and your kids will get a little jolt of excitement when your word is used or even your name. You're truly apart of this interactive show!

The actors also pretend to be whatever it says on the sheets. For example, when singing a funny song they'll pick  a noun to use, which might be Kim Kardashian, as was the case for our performance. So the actor immediately starts acting like her, the audience went into hysterics.  The entire cast is high energy and very entertaining.

This is a fun show for kids as well as the adults, the ad libbing and quick wittedness of the actors is a must see for anyone seven and older.

The actors also stop the show and talk to the audience, providing plenty of hysterical moments. Tons of laughs to be had.  My daughters ages 8 and 11 absolutely loved it!
Here are my daughters with Lindsey Brett Carothers, she plays Virtuosa
My daughters pictured with Melody Madarasz, she plays the role of Merrily, ironic name, she can carry quite the melody!Mad Libs Live! is playing at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Saturdays at 11:00 and 4:30 and Sundays at 12:00 and 3:00.
